Yes. You need to be logged into Notebook LM with a Google account before using the extension. The extension uses your existing session to add sources — no extra credentials needed.
The extension extracts videos visible in the YouTube DOM at the time of import — typically up to 50 videos for channels. For playlists, scroll down to load more videos before clicking import to capture additional items.

Open the extension popup and use the account selector in the bottom-left footer. All Google accounts currently signed into Chrome are listed. Selecting a different account will reload your notebooks for that account.
